What study types can the portfolio manage?

Investigator Studies, Sponsored Studies, and Research Collaborations. Each book is enabled per tenant, so teams see only the study types they use.

How does Word collaboration work?

Attach a .docx from the study record. Tika places it in a governed SharePoint library, and Edit in Word opens the real file in Word Online for comments, track changes, and simultaneous editing.

Where are protocol files stored?

Files live in an organization-scoped SharePoint library with one folder per study. There is no anonymous sharing or public file URL.

What happens after the final approval?

Tika disables further editing so the approved Word protocol is frozen, while the study record preserves reviewers, decisions, versions, and status.

Can labels and fields match our process?

Yes. Books, labels, columns, sections, filters, and unused fields are configured per tenant without a separate code branch.

Is this a CTMS or regulatory submission system?

No. It is a Medical Affairs evidence book for portfolio oversight, governance, milestones, documents, spend, and connected HCP/account context.

What Microsoft access is required?

Licensed Microsoft 365 access is required to open Word Online. Customers can later use the same workflow with a SharePoint site in their own tenant after IT grants access.
